The John Wick film series reaches its probable conclusion in the 3rd installment, coming on May 17th 2019. Lionsgate and the official John Wick twitter announced the news earlier today.

John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves, is an ex-assassin; pulled back into the life after his wife’s unfortunate death. The first movie has Wick on path of revenge against the man who killed his dog, while the second follows John as he unwillingly repays a debt he owes to Riccardo Scamarcio’s Santino D’Antonio. His revenge later in the second film leads straight in the plot of the 3rd.
While details are rather hazy on what the next installment entails, one can assume it will follow up the events of the 2nd, as John Wick as now the most wanted assassin in the world.
In other news, the John Wick TV spin-off, ‘The Continental’, is still in the works; both Ian McShane and Keanu Reeves are expected to make appearances.
