The fifth mainline Gears of War game will feature a female lead. It’s not the first time that the series has offered a chance to play as a female character in the story, however, this is the first time a female character will be the focal point of the series. The story is a direct sequel to the events of Gears of War 4 and will continue to follow the story of character JD and Kait.
