The much anticipated trailer for the Netflix hit series ‘Orange is the New Black’ has dropped.
The trailer reveals that the series will return to Netflix later this month, and looks as intense as ever. The series picks up after the cliffhanger ending of season 5, which saw the Litchfield inmates being taken away to various undisclosed locations, suggesting the end to Litchfield as we know it.
That trailer shows many of the much loved characters trying to adapt to life inside Maximum Security Prison (Max for short). Piper (Taylor Schilling), Red (Kate Mulgrew), Suzanne (Uzo Aduba), Taystee (Danielle Brooks), Nicky (Natasha Lyonne), Gloria (Selenis Leyva), all appear in the trailer. There is a noticeable absence of Alex (Laura Prepon), who was said to have had her baby around the same time that production of season 6 began.
Orange is the New Black returns to Netflix July 27th.
