Beloved cult actor Bruce Campbell will be filling the blood soaked shoes of the chainsaw and “boomstick” wielding Ash once again for an upcoming video game, presumably based on the Sam Raimi trilogy and subsequent TV spinoff Ash vs the Evil Dead.
This came as good news to many as Campbell had previously given up the role of Ash following the last season of Vs. When asked about the game he was quoted saying “I have previous obligations I have to fulfill. They are doing a video game. A whole immersive kind of dealio. I’ll be Ash for that, because I wouldn’t want someone else’s voice hamming it up.”
Details on the game itself remain an enigma (we don’t even have a publisher attached to it yet.) Regardless it’ll be something to look forward to in the future, and we’ll have updated when they’re available!
