Today saw the first confirmation that the replacement discs promised for the anticipated release of Doctor Who’s 12th Season have indeed been sent out. These discs were made specifically to fix issues with “The Sontaran Experiment” which had an audio error, and “Revenge of the Cybermen” which had a misspelt credit and brief overlapping of frames in episode 4, causing a “brief but distracting flicker between the shots.”

Doctor Who season 12 marked the debut of fan favourite Tom Baker, who starred in the title role alongside Elisabeth Sladen and Ian Marter. The season boasted classics like “The Ark in Space” and “Genesis of the Daleks”.
