Straight from Twitter, Bandai Namco has officially confirmed a release date for the highly anticipated Jump Force: February 15th, 2019. This was announced at Paris Games Week 2018, alongside two new character additions to the roster; Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star and Ryo Saeba from City Hunter. This follows from earlier this month when Pegasus Seiya and Shiru (Saint Seiya) were confirmed at the Brazil Games Show 2018.

They will be joining a cast of popular anime characters who have made a lasting impact in the industry, and even to non-anime fans, with the likes of Goku from the Dragonball franchise, Luffy from One Piece and Naruto making waves. They’re joined by a plethora of other Shonen Jump characters, including Zoro, Sanji, Sabo and Blackbeard (One Piece), as well as additions from Bleach in Ichigo, Rukia, and Aizen. Also included from Yu-Gi-Oh is Yugi Muto, alongside Gon, Kurapika, Killua and Hisoka from HunterxHunter.
This is shaping up to be a fighting game to beat the best, and there’s a possibility that even more characters will be added before the February release date, so keep an eye out for future updates!
