It seems Geralt is journeying once again, this time to Monster Hunter: World. The protagonist of The Witcher series is making the leap as a free update in early 2019. It will be available first on PS4 and Xbox One before its eventual release on PC.

This is not Geralt’s first appearance in another video game series, previously appearing as a guest character in Soul Calibur VI, which was released in October 2018.
Monster Hunter: World will also see the release of a brand new expansion, titled Iceborne. ‘Iceborne’ will include new quests, weapons, monsters and environments to explore, as well as a brand new campaign.
The expansion will be released in Autumn 2019, check out the first trailer.
Capcom has confirmed that the expansion will be huge and will release on PS4, Xbox One and PC. We may not see any more news from Capcom about the expansion until around spring next year, so stay tuned.
Also releasing late next year is Netflix’s Adaptation of ‘The Witcher’ book series, starring Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia.
