It’s a big day for Mortal Kombat fans!
Along with confirmation that the former UFC turned WWE superstar, Ronda Rousey, will be voicing Sonya Blade, a full gameplay trailer for the next entry in the Mortal Kombat series has been released. This was not the only trailer to be released, with a bunch more focusing on individual characters and story/gameplay elements. Most of these trailers will be featured below.
The trailer was released at the Mortal Kombat 11 event that took place in London today.
The next trailer was the biggest of the lot, focusing on the story’s prologue and expanding on elements from previous games, including how Shinnok lost his head. The trailer features a look at a darker Raiden and a glimpse of what’s to come.
The announcement of Ronda Rousey as Sonya Blade came in the form of a reveal trailer.
A new character named Geras was revealed in a separate reveal trailer, which you can watch below.
A few full matches were also showcased at the event, including a match between Sonya Blade and Skarlet, a character whose last appearance was in Mortal Kombat 9.
The next trailer focuses on one of Mortal Kombat’s most adored and recognised features, fatalities.
Mortal Kombat 11 releases April 23rd 2019 on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC.
