Fils-Aime has been working with Nintendo for 15 years and quickly became popular with Nintendo fans and gaming pop culture thanks to his personality and quirks. Nobody will ever forget the time he stood onstage at E3 2004 declaring, “My name is Reggie. I’m about kickin’ ass, I’m about takin’ names, and we’re about makin’ games.”
Others have shown their appreciation for Reggie’s hard work within the industry and wished him luck, including Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox.
All the best to Reggie Fils-Aime on the next phase of his life and career. Great leader, industry partner and friend.

His heartfelt farewell ends with the quote, “from the bottom of my heart, thanks again for everything – you are the best.” It’s fair to say that Nintendo fans feel the same way.
