Commencing at the siren…
The next movie in this ever-expanding franchise, which recently received a TV spinoff on Amazon, has found its director. Everardo Gout, who has recently helmed several episodes of Nat Geo’s Mars series, will be helming the film.
Gout has also helmed episodes of Marvel’s Luke Cage and Banshee, as well as the upcoming Snowpiercer TV series.
James DeMonaco will return to write the script with Michael Bay, Jason Blum, Andrew Form and Bradley Fuller all producing.
The Purge‘s fifth instalment is currently set for a July 10th 2020 release date, although this is subject to change.
