A new trailer for the much anticipated Star Wars series, The Mandalorian, has been released. The new trailer continues to promise a much grittier imagining of the series, harking back to some of the older content that fans loved. Check it out below:
“After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.”
The Mandalorian will be written and produced by Jon Favreau, who has previously had extensive work within the MCU. A list of directors working on the show has also been released. The premiere will be directed by Dave Filoni (who has worked on Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Clone Wars animated series respectively) whilst the subsequent offerings will be helmed by the likes of Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok), Bryce Dallas Howard (The Twilight Saga), Deborah Chow (Better Call Saul, Man in the High Castle) and Rick Famuyiwa (Talk to Me, Our Family Wedding).
