Season 2 is on its way…

Disney and Jon Favreau have announced that The Mandalorian, will return for a second season in Fall 2020. Fans of the first season will be excited to know that they will receive a new season within the year.

The Mandalorian will be written and produced by Jon Favreau, who has previously had extensive work within the MCU. A list of directors working on the show has also been released. The premiere will be directed by Dave Filoni (who has worked on Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Clone Wars animated series respectively) whilst the subsequent offerings will be helmed by the likes of Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok), Bryce Dallas Howard (The Twilight Saga), Deborah Chow (Better Call Saul, Man in the High Castle) and Rick Famuyiwa (Talk to Me, Our Family Wedding).

Season 1 of The Mandalorian is already streaming on Disney Plus in the US, while it will begin airing in the UK when Disney Plus is released on March 31st 2020. Season 2 will be available in Fall 2020.
