Straight from 2K…
2K has officially announced and confirmed that all three Mafia games would be getting a remaster and that both 2 & 3 are actually out right now. The games will all eventually be bundled together, however, due to the first Mafia game receiving a complete remake rather than just a remaster, this will be delayed until at least August 28th. Trailers for all three were released, which you can view below:
“Re-made from the ground up, Mafia: Definitive Edition offers a faithful remake of the original’s acclaimed story with dramatically improved and expanded visuals and gameplay.”
“Live the life of a gangster during the Golden Era of organized crime in this 4K remaster of Mafia II. Featuring all 3 campaign add-ons, Mafia II: Definitive Edition is available now, both separately and as part of the #MafiaTrilogy.”
“Experience the complete collection of Mafia III content in one package, including three sizable DLC storylines, tons of added content, and even new items for owners of the other two games in the #MafiaTrilogy.”
The Definitive Editions of Mafia 2 and 3 cost £24.99 individually and are available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Mafia: Definitive Edition will be available on 28th August 2020 and will have a price of £34.99 in the UK at release.
The Mafia: Trilogy Bundle, will be available from today in a digital format, of course without the remake of the first Mafia. A physical release on consoles will be available alongside the remake on 28th August 2020 for £54.99
