The Ubisoft Forward event also officially revealed the first major trailer for Far Cry 6, which was leaked and then officially confirmed a few days. The game features Giancarlo Esposito as Anton Castillo, the main antagonist of this latest instalment. The official trailer, as well as the cinematic title sequence, are featured below:
“Welcome to Yara, a tropical paradise frozen in time. As the dictator of Yara, Anton Castillo is intent on restoring his nation back to its former glory by any means, with his son, Diego, following in his bloody footsteps. Their ruthless oppression has ignited a revolution… Play as Dani Rojas, a local Yaran and become a guerrilla fighter to liberate the nation.”
The game is reported to be the largest Far Cry to date, allowing traversal through jungles, beaches and Yara’s capital city of Esperanza.
An overview trailer for some of the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gameplay was also released by Ubisoft.
“Discover more about the world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, with new features, such as Assaults and Raids, and see more of our visceral combat system.”
Far Cry 6 is set for an 18th February 2021 release date, while Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is reported for a 17th November 2020 release.
