Welcome Back, Mr Wick!
With John Wick Chapter 4 set to release on May 27th 2022, an announcement today confirmed that John Wick 5 will be filmed back-to-back with Chapter 4.
Lionsgate CEO John Feltheimer stated in an earnings call: “We’re also busy preparing scripts for the next two installments of our John Wick action franchise, with John Wick 4 slated to hit theatres Memorial Day weekend 2022. We hope to shoot both John Wick 4 & 5 back to back when Keanu becomes available early next year.”
Keanu Reeves will once again stars as the titular John Wick. Co-stars expected to return include Laurence Fishburne, Lance Reddick and Ian McShane.
The John Wick TV spin-off, The Continental, is still in the works; both Ian McShane and Keanu Reeves are expected to make appearances and the show is looking set to release sometime around the fourth entry. Relive the trailer for John Wick 3, here.
