The artwork for the final volume of Sui Ishida’s acclaimed sequel manga series Tokyo Ghoul: re has been unveiled. It features main character Ken Kaneki sporting post-dragon look with marks under his eyes and slightly different hair and features.
It draws some parallels to the very first volume of the original Tokyo Ghoul, with the positioning of his hand to the right side of his face. It also features a rare sight-Kaneki smiling, which is reflective of how the series ended.
The final manga Volume is scheduled for release in Japan on July 19th 2018 and will contain chapters 165-179.
