It has been revealed on the official Orange is the New Black twitter account, that season 7 will be the series last.
Netflix have decided to give the show an ending rather than cancellation, which will comfort some fans. Although, many may still be disappointed about the news.

Series creator, Jenji Kohan, stated, “After seven seasons, it’s time to be released from prison… I will miss all the badass ladies of Litchfield and the incredible crew we’ve worked with. My heart is orange but fade to black.”
Orange is the New Black stars Taylor Schilling as Piper, Laura Prepon as Alex, Kate Mulgrew as Red, Uzo Aduba as Crazy Eyes, Laverne Cox as Sophia, Dascha Polanco as Daya, Danielle Brooks as Taystee, Selenis Leyva as Gloria and many more.
