A few months on from the release of the 12” boxsets for Depeche Mode’s first and second albums, Speak and Spell and A Broken Frame, the Basildon-based synth innovators have confirmed a continuation of the releases with new 12” boxsets for their third and fourth albums Construction Time Again and the seminal Some Great Reward.

Unlike the previous two box sets, these offer much more content, including the 12” for the non-album 1983 single Get the Balance Right and alternative releases for several singles that featured live tracks recorded at London’s Hammersmith Odeon on October 25th, 1982, as well as different remixes by the likes of Adrian Sherwood. Depeche Mode is an electronic band that formed in 1980, comprising of Andrew “Fletch” Fletcher, Dave Gahan and Martin L. Gore. They were joined on these records by Alan Wilder, who was a member from 1982-1995.
