Part of the journey is the end…

The first trailer for Marvel’s Avengers 4 has been released. Despite rumours that the trailer wouldn’t reveal the movies’ full name, it has been titled Avengers: Endgame.

Check out the trailer here…

The trailer features Iron Man, Captain America and Black Widow heavily. With ‘surprise’ appearances from Hawkeye and Ant-Man, both of whom did not appear in Infinity War. Thor and Nebula also make appearances in the trailer.

Avengers: Endgame follows directly on from Avengers: Infinity War, and will act as the conclusion to the latest phase in Marvel movies.

The movie documents the aftermath of Thanos (Josh Brolin) wiping out half of Universe’s population and the remaining heroes reflecting upon their loss. The trailer opens with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) drifting through space close to death, and then moves to Captain America (Chris Evans) and Black Widow (Scarlet Johannson) discussing what they have to do next.

We also briefly see Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) but the biggest reveal is the return of Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), presumably taking up the moniker of Ronin.

The trailer ends with Scott Lang AKA Antman (Paul Rudd) humorously asking to be let in, suggesting that the character will bring a bit of levity to the otherwise heavily weighted storyline.

Avengers: Endgame will be released earlier than expected, with a new release date on April 26th 2019.
