Chucky’s back!
After being teased for some time the first trailer for the Child’s Play remake is finally out. ‘Chucky’ is back in a rebooted take on the beloved cult-hit 1988 movie, which spawned 6 sequels.
The film stars Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreations, Legion), Gabriel Bateman (Annabelle), Tim Matheson (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, The West Wing) and Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse). Disappointingly, Brad Dourif will not be returning to voice the miniature menace as the ‘Chucky’ doll featured in the film is not possessed by the dead serial killer Charles Lee Ray.
It: Chapter One and It: Chapter Two duo, Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg, will serve as producers.
The film is expected to release, June 21st 2019.
