Yakuza is back in the West…
In an already busy week for gaming fans of the Yakuza games franchise have been given some great news! Sega is bringing the remastered editions of Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5 to the West, having been released in Japan earlier this year.
These remasters run at 60fps and 1080p and feature improved visuals, revised localizations, and restored content that was previously cut from the original PS3 releases.
The package is available on the PSN store for £49.99 and there will be a physical edition coming in February, though the UK price and availability is unconfirmed at this time.
The physical edition will include a digipack and a bonus PS3 case for Yakuza 5, filling in the gap for Western collectors who never saw a physical release previously.
Yakuza fans can finally fill in the gap between Kiwami 2 and Yakuza 6 on their PS4s and fill the shoes of main protagonist Kiryu and other characters like Akiyama and even play as Haruka in 5.
Those who buy the collection will be able to play Yakuza 3 immediately, whilst Yakuza 4 will be available on 29th October and Yakuza 5 11th February 2020.
