The Moment We’ve All Been Waiting For!
After Xbox’s announcement that both the Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S would cost $499.99 and $299.99 respectively (£449.99 and £249.99), PlayStation has taken this time to release a livestream, announcing new games and showing off gameplay while also revealing the price and release date. PlayStation has revealed the price of PS5, with the normal edition costing the same as an Xbox Series X at £449.99/$499.99, while the digital version sits at £359.99/$399.99.
Alongside these announcements came the reveal of a few games, including Final Fantasy XVI and Hogwarts Legacy. Some more gameplay from games such as Spider-Man Miles Morales, Resident Evil Village & Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was shown. Watch some of these trailers below:

God of War was also confirmed to be returning, the previous God of War was critically acclaimed and released on the PS4 in 2018.
The PlayStation 5 will be released on November 12th in the US, Mexico, Japan, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea; The UK, Europe and the rest of the world will see a release a week later on November 19th 2020. Pre-Orders are available now from select stores!
