“Oh, I don’t think that was ever in question.”
Marvel has released the latest trailer for their upcoming Disney Plus show, WandaVision. Watch the full trailer below and prepare to enter a world inspired by “classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe”:
“The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.”
The trailer hints at the series being a sequel set after the events of Infinity War and/or Endgame, rather than being set before these movies, as was rumoured when the show was was announced originally. The show promises an intriguing and entertaining look into the characters of Vision and Scarlet Witch, two of the most powerful yet underappreciated heroes in the Avengers movies.
Marvel Studios’ WandaVision is an original series with Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany and Teyonah Parris. Originally set to stream exclusively on Disney+ from Spring 2021, an exact date is currently yet to be confirmed, although we may see the show as early as December 2020.
Disney’s ever-expanding library is available on Disney Plus, along with the fan favourite series, The Mandalorian & more.
