Could we be seeing a new Fallout game on the horizon! The Maryland based studio just posted an unexpected video all over social media, asking fans to “Please Stand By”. The video will automatically stand out to fans of the Fallout series. Many will consider a new entry in the series to be unexpected, since a new Elder Scrolls seems to be the priority for Bethesda at the moment.

Fallout 4, Bethesda’s last big Fallout game, was released on November 10th 2015; with a VR edition releasing in 2017.
Many a theory is floating around the internet due to this announcement. Many believe that this could be another spin-off game akin to Fallout: New Vegas, the highly successful entry in the series by Obsidian Entertainment. Others believe this could be an announcement for a Fallout 3 remaster or port to the Nintendo Switch. The other option is that this could be an announcement for the newest entry in the numbered series, only time will tell.
