The anime adaptation of Sui Ishida’s acclaimed manga sequel Tokyo Ghoul: re will receive another 12 episode cour, as confirmed by Young Jump magazine. This is expected to air in October, following a small break, possibly with a cliffhanger from wherever the first season leaves off.
It is expected that this season will continue the manga continuity, as opposed to going in a different direction like Tokyo Ghoul Season 2 AKA Root A did.
The manga meanwhile is expected to end in just three chapters.
