Actor Colman Domingo, who plays Victor Strand on the much improved ‘The Walking Dead’ spinoff, will make his TV directorial debut on the next episode of Fear The Walking Dead.
The next episode, titled ‘Weak’, will air on September 2nd. Domingo spoke of his role as the director in a recent interview with Hidden Remote, “I’ve been directing in theater for over 25 years so I was really sort of translating everything I knew from helming musicals and plays, to television. It’s just a slight adaptation of that.”
Domingo directed the critically successful broadway production of ‘Barbeque’, among others throughout his career. Lucifer star Tom Ellis also congratulated Colman on his debut, referring to him by the name of Frank. Father Frank Lawrence is a character Domingo had previously played in the first season of Lucifer.
