More than Meets the Eye!
A new trailer for the Transformers spin-off starring Hailee Steinfeld and John Cena, has been released. The trailer features a first look at Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) and the world of Cybertron. It also features two Decepticon trackers, Shatter and Dropkick, portrayed by Angela Bassett (Black Panther) and Justin Theroux (The Leftovers).
“On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.”
Director Travis Knight is taking a different direction to the Michael Bay series, making this entry a good starting point for newcomers.
‘Bumblebee’ releases in theatres December 21st 2018 in the US and December 26th 2018 in the UK and Worldwide.
