Reports have come out today that FF VII Remake may be playable on the next generation PlayStation/PS5, whether this will be through backwards compatibility or a future version is yet unknown.
Square Enix’s president and CEO, Yosuke Matsuda, reportedly told Game Informer: “I believe that our teams have made it so that the game will support both the next generation and the current generation of consoles.”
Below is the full trailer released during E3, featuring a more in-depth look at the game and characters, including our first look at fan-favourite Tifa.
“The world has fallen under the control of the Shinra Electric Power Company, a shadowy corporation controlling the planet’s very life force as mako energy.
