Vin Diesel has confirmed on Instagram that Fast & Furious 9 has officially begun filming. In the video, he and Michelle Rodriguez state: “We just completed our first day, it feels like a miracle.” The video is also captioned with, “First day completed! Blessed beyond words. #Fast9 2020.”
Director Justin Lin, Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris and former Game of Thrones actress Nathalie Emmanuel also revealed that filming had commenced on twitter and Instagram.

Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, who are starring in the Fast & Furious spin-off Hobbs and Shaw, are currently unsure on whether they will be returning for the 9th instalment, however, John Cena will be joining the cast.
Fast & Furious 9 will release in theatres May 22nd 2020.
