Fox have cancelled another hit show from their catalogue. Lucifer is the latest victim in Fox’s recent killing spree. The series stars Lucifer, played Tom Ellis, and a cast of other angels and demons. Set in Los Angeles, Lucifer helps the LAPD solve crimes with his partner, Chloe Decker (Played by Lauren German).
The show features characters based off Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman; one of Vertigo and DC’s most popular comic book series.
Like Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Lucifer’s popularity could prove useful as the show may now be open to other networks for a renewal of sorts. Now, lets hope Gotham hasn’t followed suit, or else Fox may feel the wrath of fans everywhere.
