Legendary one-time James Bond actor, Timothy Dalton, is joining the ever growing cast of DC’s Doom Patrol.
Timothy Dalton has also made appearances in shows such as Chuck, Doctor Who and Penny Dreadful, as well as his extensive career on Film and Stage.
Dalton will portray Dr. Niles Caulder, otherwise referred to as the Chief. He joins recently announced Mummy star, Brendan Fraser, as Robotman and Alan Tudyk as super-villain, Mr. Nobody. The show also stars Cyborg (Joivan Wade), Negative Man (Matt Bomer), Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby) and Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero).
Doom Patrol will be written by Jeremy Carver (Supernatural), Carver will also act as an Executive Producer alongside Greg Berlanti (Arrow, Flash, Supergirl) and DC legend, Geoff Johns. 13 episodes of the superhero drama series are being produced.
The cast of Doom Patrol will appear in Titans, which begins its weekly run on October 12th on the DC Universe streaming service. The full Doom Patrol spin-off will air sometime in 2019.
